About Me

My name is Anna Lowegard and I am a sixth year PhD student in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics at Duke University. I am also a part of the certificate program in Structural Biology & Biophysics. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Biology. My research interests focus on the application of structure-based computational protein (re)design to inhibitor design for use in drug discovery.
