About
I started my PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at Duke University in 2014 after acquiring a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering the same year. Once my lab rotations were over, I joined the Lew Lab in the summer of 2015.
Broadly, I want to understand biological systems via mechanistic models. More specifically, I use confocal microscopy and simulations of partial differential equation systems to understand how yeast polarize and track pheromone gradients.
In my spare time, I like making art with digital and traditional mediums, and playing the guitar.
