APPLYING
FOR AUTHORIZATION TO CONDUCT SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENTS AT COCHA CASHU
The
information that we are presenting here is the most recent information
that we have obtained from INRENA
(see bottom for list of required documents). But, with political changes
occuring all the time in Peru, this may change at the last minute before
you apply for your permits. Your application (written in Spanish) will
be considered after you pay an application fee at the INRENA office
in Lima. If
you don't have time in Lima to apply by yourself (this may take a month)
it imay be necessary to hire a legal representative to apply for you.

your research location.
Please plan on complying with the Peruvian government's
requirement that all non-Peruvian researchers hire at least one Peruvian
assistant.
