I am an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at Duke University.
I received my Ph.D in 2010 from the University
of Arizona.
My graduate career had other temporal parts located at UNC-Chapel Hill, MIT and Australian National University. I did my undergraduate work where fun goes to die.
I work mainly on the metaphysics of causation, and on questions at the intersection of causation and ethics. I also have interests in the metaphysics of time and time travel.
I'll be a visitor at Australian National University for the (northern) summer of 2013.
