Welcome to my Writing 20 "Efolio." I am a
freshman at
My work this semester has consisted of two major essays, and a number of shorter
papers.
Reflection on my development as a writer this semester.
My first essay explores how authors reuse the work of
others by examining The Simpsons' adaptation of Edgar
Allan Poe's poem "The Raven."
My second essay investigates the special vocabulary
used by mathematicians and physicists and on how that vocabulary reflects a
playful attitude present in them.
A PowerPoint presentation on my second essay examines how my essay developed and how I found the revision process to be helpful.
Additionally, I have a copy of a handout I made
for a class presentation on the differences between the Bob Dylan and Byrds' versions
of "Mr.
