Sample screen from "Cross-Sectional Anatomy Tutor"

Images from the National Library of Medicine's Visible Human dataset are presented. In the tutorial mode, the program asks students to (1) locate an anatomic structure by clicking on the image and (2) select the correct name of a structure outlined on the screen by clicking on a list. Instructional feedback is given on each response the student makes. Students view corresponding CT and MR images at the same level of the body to learn to identify structures on clinical images.
