Trading Unit: The index number as published multiplied by $1.00 is considered the equivalent of the price of an underlying "stock." The trading unit is 100 times the index number.

Expiration Cycle: Three consecutive near-term expiration months plus the next two nearest-term expiration months in the March cycle.

Expiration: The Saturday following the third Friday of the expiration month.

Exercise Prices: Exercise prices will be set at five-point intervals to bracket the current value of the Major Market Index. New exercise prices will be added when the current value of the Index touches an existing strike.

Premium Quotations: Quotations in dollars per equivalent "share." Fractions of a dollar (A) in the case of a premium of less than $300, in I/ 16ths and (B) in the case of a premium equal to or greater than $300, in 1/8ths.

Example: A bid of 2 'A represents a bid to pay a premium of $212.50 for an option contract.

Minimum Margin: The dollar amount of the current premium plus 15% of the current index value (index number for Uncovered Writers x 100) reduced by the amount by which the option is out of the money to a minimum of premium plus 10% of the current index value.

Settlement Trades: Next business day.

"Delivery " Method: If Exercised, Cash settlement in accordance with the rules of OCC based on the dollar difference between the index number and exercise price of the contract multiplied by 100. The index number is determined following the close of trading on the day the exercise notice is submitted.

Limited Exercise : Options may be exercised only on the last trading day prior to expiration of the options. Writers of options are subject to assignment only at that time.

Position Limits: 34,000 contracts on the same side of the market, provided no more than 20,000 of such contracts are in series with the nearest expiration month. Higher limits may be available for hedging, subject to prior Exchange approval.
