NASDAQ 100

Description of Index: The Nasdaq-100 Index is a capitalization-weighted index composed of 100 of the largest nonfinancial securities listed on The Nasdaq Stock Market. Base values for the index are adjusted over time to reflect changes in capitalization resulting from mergers, acquisitions, stock rights or substitutions.

Expiration Months: Three near-term months, followed by up to three additional months on the March quarterly cycle.

Exercise Style: European. Nasdaq- I 00 index options generally may be exercised only on the lost business day prior to the expiration date.

Settlement Exercise: The exerci@sefflement value, NDS@", is determined on the last day prior to expiration and is based on the first (opening) reported sale price for each component.

Position Limits: 25,000 contracts on either side of the market with no more than 15,000 of such contracts in the near-term series. An index option hedge exemption for public customers may be available for certain diversified portfolios, which expands the limit to 100,000 contracts.
