^30:1Y FUÉ a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

ENG. Mortal, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Wail, "Alas for the day!"

^30:3Porque cerca está el día, cerca está el día del Señor; día de nublado, día de las gentes será.
ENG. For a day is near, the day of the LORD is near; it will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.

^30:4 Y vendrá espada a Egipto, y habrá miedo en Etiopía, cuando caerán heridos en Egipto; y tomarán su multitud, y serán destruídos sus fundamentos.
ENG. A sword shall come upon Egypt, and anguish shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain fall in Egypt, and its wealth is carried away, and its foundations are torn down.

^30:5 Etiopía, y Libia, y Lidia, y todo el conjunto de pueblo, y Chûb, y los hijos de la tierra de la liga, caerán con ellos a cuchillo.
ENG. Ethiopia, and Put, and Lud, and all Arabia, and Libya, and the people of the allied land shall fall with them by the sword.

^30:6 Así ha dicho Jehová: También caerán los que sostienen a Egipto, y la altivez de su fortaleza caerá: desde Migdol hasta Seveneh caerán en él a cuchillo, dice el Señor Jehová.
ENG. Thus says the LORD: Those who support Egypt shall fall, and its proud might shall come down; from Migdol to Syene they shall fall within it by the sword, says the Lord GOD.

^30:7Y serán asolados entre las tierras asoladas, y sus ciudades serán entre las ciudades desiertas.

ENG. Then they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set fire to Egypt, and all who help it are broken.

^30:9 En aquel tiempo saldrán mensajeros de delante de mí en navíos, a espantar a Etiopía la confiada, y tendrán espanto como en el día de Egipto: porque he aquí viene.
ENG. On that day, messengers shall go out from me in ships to terrify the unsuspecting Ethiopians; and anguish shall come upon them on the day of Egypt's doom; for it is coming!

^30:10Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Haré cesar la multitud de Egipto por mano de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia.
ENG. Thus says the Lord GOD: I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt, by the hand of King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon.

^30:11 El, y con él su pueblo, los más fuertes de las gentes, serán traídos a destruir la tierra: y desenvainarán sus espadas sobre Egipto, y henchirán la tierra de muertos.
ENG. He and his people with him, the most terrible of the nations, shall be brought in to destroy the land; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.

^30:12 Y secaré los ríos, y entregaré la tierra en manos de malos, y destruiré la tierra y su plenitud por mano de extranjeros: yo Jehová he hablado.
ENG. I will dry up the channels, and will sell the land into the hand of evildoers; I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it by the hand of foreigners; I the LORD have spoken.

^30:13 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Destruiré también las imágenes, y haré cesar los ídolos de Memphis; y no habrá más príncipe de la tierra de Egipto, y en la tierra de Egipto pondré temor.
ENG. Thus says the Lord GOD: I will destroy the idols and put an end to the images in Memphis; there shall no longer be a prince in the land of Egypt; so I will put fear in the land of Egypt.

^30:14Y asolaré a Patros, y pondré fuego a Zoán, y haré juicios en No.
ENG. I will make Pathros a desolation, and will set fire to Zoan, and will execute acts of judgment on Thebes.

ENG. I will pour my wrath upon Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and cut off the hordes of Thebes.

ENG. I will set fire to Egypt; Pelusium shall be in great agony; Thebes shall be breached, and Memphis face adversaries by day.

^30:17Los mancebos de Avén y de Pibeseth caerán a cuchillo; y ellas irán en cautiverio.
ENG. The young men of On and of Pi-beseth shall fall by the sword; and the cities themselves shall go into captivity.

^30:18 Y en Tehaphnes será cerrado el día, cuando quebrantaré yo allí las barras de Egipto, y cesará en ella la soberbia de su fortaleza: nublado la cubrirá, y los moradores de sus aldeas irán en cautiverio.
ENG. At Tehaphnehes the day shall be dark, when I break there the dominion of Egypt, and its proud might shall come to an end; the city shall be covered by a cloud, and its daughter-towns shall go into captivity.

ENG. Thus I will execute acts of judgment on Egypt. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.

^30:21 Hijo del hombre, quebrantado he el brazo de Faraón rey de Egipto; y he aquí que no ha sido vendado poniéndo le medicinas, poniéndole faja para ligarlo, a fin de vigorizarle para que pueda tener espada.
ENG. Mortal, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; it has not been bound up for healing or wrapped with a bandage, so that it may become strong to wield the sword.

^30:22 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Heme aquí contra Faraón rey de Egipto, y quebraré sus brazos, el fuerte y el fracturado, y haré que la espada se le caiga de la mano.
ENG. Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, both the strong arm and the one that was broken; and I will make the sword fall from his hand.

^30:24 Y fortificaré los brazos del rey de Babilonia, y pondré mi espada en su mano; mas quebraré los brazos de Faraón, y delante de aquél gemirá con gemidos de herido de muerte.
ENG. I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand; but I will break the arms of Pharaoh, and he will groan before him with the groans of one mortally wounded.

^30:25 Fortificaré pues los brazos del rey de Babilonia, y los brazos de Faraón caerán; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando yo pusiere mi espada en la mano del rey de Babilonia, y él la extendiere sobre la tierra de Egipto.
ENG. I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh shall fall. And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon. He shall stretch it out against the land of Egypt,

ENG. Mortal, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his hordes: Whom are you like in your greatness?

^31:3 He aquí era el Asirio cedro en el Líbano, hermoso en ramas, y umbroso con sus ramos, y de grande altura, y su copa estaba entre densas ramas.
ENG. Consider Assyria, a cedar of Lebanon, with fair branches and forest shade, and of great height, its top among the clouds.

^31:4 Las aguas lo hicieron crecer, encumbrólo el abismo: sus ríos iban alrededor de su pie, y a todos los árboles del campo enviaba sus corrientes.
ENG. The waters nourished it, the deep made it grow tall, making its rivers flow around the place it was planted, sending forth its streams to all the trees of the field.

^31:5 Por tanto, se encumbró su altura sobre todos los árboles del campo, y multiplicáronse sus ramos, y a causa de las muchas aguas se alargaron sus ramas que había echado.
ENG. So it towered high above all the trees of the field; its boughs grew large and its branches long, from abundant water in its shoots.

ENG. All the birds of the air made their nests in its boughs; under its branches all the animals of the field gave birth to their young; and in its shade all great nations lived.

ENG. It was beautiful in its greatness, in the length of its branches; for its roots went down to abundant water.

^31:8 Los cedros no lo cubrieron en el huerto de Dios: las hayas no fueron semejantes a sus ramas, ni los castaños fueron semejantes a sus ramos: ningún árbol en el huerto de Dios fué semejante a él en su hermosura.
ENG. The cedars in the garden of God could not rival it, nor the fir trees equal its boughs; the plane trees were as nothing compared with its branches; no tree in the garden of God was like it in beauty.

ENG. I made it beautiful with its mass of branches, the envy of all the trees of Eden that were in the garden of God.

ENG. Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because it towered high and set its top among the clouds, and its heart was proud of its height,

^31:11Yo lo entregaré en mano del fuerte de las gentes, que de cierto le manejará: por su impiedad lo he arrojado.
ENG. I gave it into the hand of the prince of the nations; he has dealt with it as its wickedness deserves. I have cast it out.

ENG. Foreigners from the most terrible of the nations have cut it down and left it. On the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its boughs lie broken in all the watercourses of the land; and all the peoples of the earth went away from its shade and left it.

^31:14 Para que no se eleven en su altura los árboles todos de las aguas, ni levanten su cumbre entre las espesuras, ni en sus ramas se paren por su altura todos los que beben aguas: porque todos serán entregados a muerte, a la tierra baja, en medio de los hijos
ENG. All this is in order that no trees by the waters may grow to lofty height or set their tops among the clouds, and that no trees that drink water may reach up to them in height. For all of them are handed over to death, to the world below; along with all mortals, with those who go down to the Pit.

^31:15 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que descendió a la sepultura, hice hacer luto, hice cubrir por él el abismo, y detuve sus ríos, y las muchas aguas fueron detenidas: y al Líbano cubrí de tinieblas por él, y todos los árboles del campo se desmayaron.
ENG. Thus says the Lord GOD: On the day it went down to Sheol I closed the deep over it and covered it; I restrained its rivers, and its mighty waters were checked. I clothed Lebanon in gloom for it, and all the trees of the field fainted because of it.

ENG. I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to Sheol with those who go down to the Pit; and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that were well watered, were consoled in the world below.

^31:18 ¿A quién te has comparado así en gloria y en grandeza entre los árboles de Edén? Pues derrribado serás con los árboles de Edén en la tierra baja: entre los incircuncisos yacerás, con los muertos a cuchillo. Este es Faraón y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor J
ENG. Which among the trees of Eden was like you in glory and in greatness? Now you shall be brought down with the trees of Eden to the world below; you shall lie among the uncircumcised, with those who are killed by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his horde, says the Lord GOD.

^32:2 Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre Faraón rey de Egipto, y dile: A leoncillo de gentes eres semejante, y eres como la ballena en los mares: que secabas tus ríos, y enturbiabas las aguas con tus pies, y hollabas sus riberas.
ENG. Mortal, raise a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: You consider yourself a lion among the nations, but you are like a dragon in the seas; you thrash about in your streams, trouble the water with your feet, and foul your streams.

ENG. I will throw you on the ground, on the open field I will fling you, and will cause all the birds of the air to settle on you, and I will let the wild animals of the whole earth gorge themselves with you.

ENG. I will drench the land with your flowing blood up to the mountains, and the watercourses will be filled with you.

^32:7 Y cuando te habré muerto, cubriré los cielos, y haré entenebrecer sus estrellas: el sol cubriré con nublado, y la luna no hará resplandecer su luz.
ENG. When I blot you out, I will cover the heavens, and make their stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light.

ENG. All the shining lights of the heavens I will darken above you, and put darkness on your land, says the Lord GOD.

^32:9 Y entristeceré el corazón de muchos pueblos, cuando llevaré tu quebrantamiento sobre las gentes, por las tierras que no conociste.
ENG. I will trouble the hearts of many peoples, as I carry you captive among the nations, into countries you have not known.

^32:10 Y haré atónitos sobre ti muchos pueblos, y sus reyes tendrán a causa de ti horror grande, cuando haré resplandecer mi espada delante de sus rostros, y todos se sobresaltarán en sus ánimos a cada momento en el día de tu caída.
ENG. I will make many peoples appalled at you; their kings shall shudder because of you. When I brandish my sword before them, they shall tremble every moment for their lives, each one of them, on the day of your downfall.

^32:12 Con espadas de fuertes haré caer tu pueblo; todos ellos serán los fuertes de las gentes: y destruirán la soberbia de Egipto, y toda su multitud será deshecha.
ENG. I will cause your hordes to fall by the swords of mighty ones, all of them most terrible among the nations. They shall bring to ruin the pride of Egypt, and all its hordes shall perish.

^32:13 Todas sus bestias destruiré de sobre las muchas aguas: ni más las enturbiará pie de hombre, ni uña de bestias las enturbiarán.
ENG. I will destroy all its livestock from beside abundant waters; and no human foot shall trouble them any more, nor shall the hoofs of cattle trouble them.

ENG. My sheep were scattered, they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill; my sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with no one to search or seek for them.

ENG. As I live, says the Lord GOD, because my sheep have become a prey, and my sheep have become food for all the wild animals, since there was no shepherd; and because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep, but the shepherds have fed themselves, and have not fed my sheep;

^34:10 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo a los pastores; y requeriré mis ovejas de su mano, y haréles dejar de apacentar las ovejas: ni los pastores se apacentarán más a sí mismos; pues yo libraré mis ovejas de sus bocas, y no les serán más por comida.
ENG. Thus says the Lord GOD, I am against the shepherds; and I will demand my sheep at their hand, and put a stop to their feeding the sheep; no longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, so that they may not be food for them.

^34:12 Como reconoce su rebaño el pastor el día que está en medio de sus ovejas esparcidas, así reconoceré mis ovejas, y las libraré de todos los lugares en que fueron esparcidas el día del nublado y de la oscuridad.
ENG. As shepherds seek out their flocks when they are among their scattered sheep, so I will seek out my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places to which they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.

^34:13 Y yo las sacaré de los pueblos, y las juntaré de las tierras: y las meteré en su tierra, y las apacentaré en los montes de Israel por las riberas, y en todas las habitaciones del país.
ENG. I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited parts of the land.

^34:14 En buenos pastos las apacentaré, y en los altos montes de Israel será su majada: allí dormirán en buena majada, y en pastos gruesos serán apacentadas sobre los montes de Israel.
ENG. I will feed them with good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel shall be their pasture; there they shall lie down in good grazing land, and they shall feed on rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

ENG. I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with justice.

ENG. Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture? When you drink of clear water, must you foul the rest with your feet?

ENG. The trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase. They shall be secure on their soil; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I break the bars of their yoke, and save them from the hands of those who enslaved them.
