The Beam Element Stiffness Matrix

For the analysis of beams through the use of a matrix,
Let us start by describing when we should use ... six.

Six EI as a numerator over L squared,
Well folks, this value's use is most definitely paired.

When a unit rotation is applied, this value is the force.
For a unit displacement, as a moment this value takes another course.

Force for a unit displacement is always twelve.
But for the moment of a unit rotation, ... deeper we must delve.

The end opposite the rotation, the moment is two.
The rotation end's moment is four, ... and that's all you have to do.
