"Flocking X" - Gus Alvarez
The previous version, "Sea Kitten Creek," has been enhanced with the addition of features including metabolism and predation. Four omnivorous species vie for survival, each preying on any creature that is smaller. Each creature is composed of a sophisticated set of perceptual, cognitive and behavioral processes.

"Kauffman NK Boolean Network Simulator" - Josh Silverman
Random boolean networks are abstract theoretical representations of a large class of complex systems without the necessity of specifying exact interrelationships. They are useful in characterizing a wide range of cellular, neurological, biological, social and cultural phenomena. Different initial conditions are attracted to a smaller set of patterns of behavior over time.

"A Strange Post-Apocalyptic City" - Katherine Buse
Originally created to interface with a rotary dial telephone through an EZIO AD/DA converter, this audio-rich version can also stand alone. Since it requires various .wav files, you must first download the executable into its own unique folder, download the zipped wave files to the same folder, unzip them to that folder, and then run the executable from that folder.

"Winning at Life" - Serena Qui
This application requires connection to a rotary phone through the EZIO A/D D/A converter. The player gains status by expeditiously calling five different pesonages. But take care, it matters who you call and in what order. Since it requires various .wav files, you must first download the executable into its own unique folder, download the zipped wave files to the same folder, unzip them to that folder, and then run the executable from that folder.

"Slots" - Caleb Seeley
This application requires connection to a Bally slot machine "virtual reel" through the EZIO A/D D/A converter. The player wins when double icons appear. Since the slot machine is determinstic, not random, the payout probabilities can be preset to any level.

"Theremin's DrumSet" - Holly Little
This application requires connection to four infrared rangefinders through the EZIO A/D D/A converter. Sensors control the notes of three MIDI instruments as well as the timing.
