German Schlüsselgerät SG-41-Z or Hitlermühle
Serial Number: 000788CX044
December 1944 (dated at the lower-left of page 2 of the instructions).

Extremely rare Hageling type cryptographic device developed by Germany towards the end of the WW2. It was never fully deployed and apparently several of these were dumped in a fresh-water lake and recently recovered. The keyboard has only ten keys. A version with a full set of alphanumeric keys exists. This is a stereo pair of images: the right image is to the left and the left image is to the right. Stand back and fuse the images cross-eyed to get the full 3d effect.
