Directions to Radiation Safety
Walking From Hock Plaza: Walk up Erwin Road towards the Veteran's Administration Hospital and Duke Hospital North. Cross Fulton Street and go to your left one block. Cross Elba Street and walk one more block to Elder Street. Walk up Elder Street and look for the big blue "OESO Radiation Safety Division" sign on the left side of the street. Go to the door on the courtyard side of the building and ring the bell for admittance. Dr. Reiman's office is Room 123 at the end of the hall.
From Duke Hospital North: Take Fulton Street past the VA Medical Center (on your left) and Parking Garage II (on your right). Proceed past Elba Street and Elder Street (on your right) and take the next right onto Pratt Steet. Proceed straight up Pratt Street, past the North Pavilion (on your left). When the paved road curves left into the North Pavilion Garage, keep straight into the gravel parking/delivery area. Radiation Safety is in the last brick building on the right, adjacent to the gravel parking area. Ring the bell for admittance. Dr. Reiman's office is Room 123 at the end of the hall.
From I-85: Get off at the Hillandale Road exit and proceed toward Duke Medical Center and the VA. Go under Hillsborough Road and NC 147; Hillandale turns into Fulton Street. Just past the North Pavilion (tall building on your left), take a left onto Pratt Street (the entrance to North Pavilion). Proceed straight up Pratt Steet, past the North Pavilion (on your left). When the paved road curves left into the North Pavilion Garage, keep straight into the gravel parking/delivery area. Radiation Safety is in the last brick building on the right, adjacent to the gravel parking area. Ring the bell for admittance. Dr. Reiman's office is Room 123 at the end of the hall.
From I-40/NC 147: Take the Elba St. / Trent Drive Exit off NC 147 (Durham Freeway). At the top of the ramp, continue straight onto Elba Street toward the VA hospital. At the first light, turn right onto Fulton Street. Proceed past Elder Street (on your right) and take the next right onto Pratt Street. Proceed straight up Pratt Street, past the North Pavilion (on your left). When the paved road curves left into the North Pavilion Garage, keep straight into the gravel parking/delivery area. Parking Recommendation: Park in the North Pavilion garage, which is open to the public and about 100 yards away across Pratt Street. This is the only legal parking in the area. Parking fees are approximately $1.00 per hour.
