Stiff Dogwood (Cornus foemina)

Also known as Southern Swamp Dogwood, this uncommon medium-sized shrub is found along streams and in other wet areas. The drupes are bright blue when ripe. The pith of branchlets is white, unlike the brown pith of the similar Swamp Dogwood (C. amomum). Also known as Cornus foemina P. Miller.
