Died: 23-Feb-2003   WILLIAMS, MAJOR, 101, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (Feb. 23, 2003) at home. He came here in 1922 from his native Alachua. He was a chauffeur for 54 years, retiring in 1967. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Misssionary Baptist Church and St. Petersburg Lodge 109 F&AM. He was honored on his 100th birthday with a party at Graham Park apartments with city dignitaries in attendance. Survivors include two nieces, Christine Jones, Sarasota, and Denise Donaldson, St. Petersburg; and a nephew, Ron Donaldson, St. Petersburg. Creal Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.
