This is our home. It was built in 1999. We didn't think we would ever find
a house that we liked (I am very picky) that was already built, but we found
this one and loved it. We happened across this house while looking for land
to build on. We jumped on it and got it. It is on 4.5 acres of land in a
small subdivision of less than 30 homes. This is the style of home we were
looking to build. I must have gone through 6-7000 house plans and all of
the ones I liked, were of this style. The main room is 26 feet at the pinnacle
of the ceiling. The house is only 2600 sq feet. As you can see from the
pics there is very little wall space for anything. This is how we came to
decide to put the aquarium up on the mantle. When you walk in and see the
tank it does not look as high above the ground as it is. It is a little
annoying to view at close range (especially for short people), but makes
a spectacular showpiece in the room. |
