Catalogue of specimens studied by Hill and Watson in the brain and neural crest study

Key to table: The numbers in the first column are KKSmith catalogue numbers. The Hill specimen number is the number from Hill's original catalogue, while the "Specimen number" is the number given to the specimen when catalogued for the Hubrecht collection. This is the number that is used in this web page. Envelope number refers to the envelope in the Hill collection (numbering system by KKSmith) containing notes and materials on this specimen. The description of the specimen is KKSmith's description of the stage of the specimen, and the description of material refers to the "paper" material (notes, photographs, illustrations, etc.) in the Hill collection. Virtually all original sectioned specimens are in the Hill collection. Links take you to either images or text concerning individual specimens (links under construction).
