Prospective Members
The next phase of your career will be shaped by
your energy and vision. Your area of technical
concentration is less important to us than your
potential. We seek evidence of high achievement
in prior work. We encourage applications from
those with an interest in computer engineering and
have demonstrated strong academic performance as
well as professional drive.
Preparation. Identifying a mutual
fit is essential. Survey our
prior research to
identify areas of shared interest.
Our publications
highlight prior research and also illustrate
the style of future research.
Growth. We provide
researchers with the experience necessary for
professional growth and career advancement.
Researchers will work closely with faculty,
developing research directions and executing
projects. Moreover, researchers will build their
networks through conference travel, industrial
internships, and inter-disciplinary
collaborations.
Opportunities
The group seeks talented and driven researchers in
the broadly defined area of computer engineering.
Opportunities are available at undergraduate,
graduate, and post-doctorate levels.
Post-doctorate. A postdoctoral
research position is available in the broadly
defined area of computer engineering. Term of
appointment is one year with possibility for
re-appointment subject to performance and
funding. Strong candidates will hold a PhD in a
relevant discipline and evidence of high
achievement in prior work. A strong research
track record is required.
Applications should include a curriculum vitae
(CV), copies of relevant publications, a brief
research statement (two-page max), as well as
contact information for three references. Please
email applications to Prof. Lee. Review of
applications will begin immediately and continue
until position is filled.
Graduate. Graduate research
positions are available in the broadly defined
area of computer engineering. Strong candidates
will possess a strong technical background and
evidence of high achievement in prior work. Prior
research experience is beneficial. Interested
candidates should apply, via the
Duke
Graduate School, to the Ph.D. program in
either Electrical
and Computer Engineering
or Computer
Science. If already a Duke student,
please email curriculum vitae (CV) and short
description of interests to Prof. Lee.
Undergraduate. Undergraduate
research positions are available in the broadly
defined area of computer engineering. Please email
curriculum vitae (CV) and short description of
interests to Prof. Lee. Interested
candidates should also consider the
Pratt Research Fellows Program.
